DeShana G. Collett, Ph.D., PA-C,  is a licensed and board-certified physician assistant with over 20 years of clinical experience, currently specializing in family medicine, aesthetics and wellness.  She holds a Master of Science in Physician Assistant Studies and a Ph.D. in Higher Educational Policy and Evaluation from the University of Kentucky, where she also serves as a tenured full professor and leader in healthcare education. Her background spans family medicine, orthopedic medicine, and rehabilitation, allowing her to offer a holistic approach to patient care.

As an expert in patient education and wellness, her focus is not only on external aesthetics but also on overall health, offering guidance on skincare, anti-aging treatments, and preventive health strategies. Her passion for patient-centered care drives her to stay current with the latest advancements in the aesthetics field, ensuring that patients receive the highest standard of care.

Beyond clinical practice, she has extensive experience in academic leadership, having directed admissions, accreditation, and curriculum development for physician assistant programs. She currently serves as the Chairwoman of the ARC-PA and is also an active member of professional organizations such as the American Association of Physician Assistants and the Kentucky Association of Physician Assistants, where she stays engaged with ongoing developments in healthcare.
