Botox
As the first and most celebrated neurotoxin on the market, Botox is made from onabotulinumtoxinA, a specific strain of bacteria. Botox effectively reduces and prevents wrinkles caused by repeated facial expressions (smiling, frowning, etc). Botox can also provide a slimming effect on the face as muscles relax.
A Cleaner Wrinkle Relaxer
Xeomin
Xeomin is also derived from botulinum type A. But unlike Botox, it does not contain accessory proteins. It undergoes a different purification process where all accessory proteins are removed, delivering a "naked" form of the neurotoxin. This minimizes the chance of an allergic reaction to the injection. Otherwise, it works much the same as Botox, addressing frown lines and other muscle-induced wrinkles.
Targeted Muscle Relaxing Injectable
Dysport
Dysport is another neurotoxin, like Botox and Xeomin, derived from botulinum toxin type A. Dysport, however, has different accessory proteins which allow it to spread more easily and more broadly. This makes it more useful for larger areas and for delivering results in less time. Most Dysport injections are done around the eyebrows to erase glabellar lines and reduce more severe forehead lines.

Treatment
As part of the consultation, we’ll help you decide which of our 3 neurotoxins will work best in your treatment area. Your Botox, Xeomin, or Dysport will be administered through a series of small injections placed artfully and exactly in the right sites.
Aftercare
After a 15-minute waiting period, you’re free to go about your day. Most clients see initial results appear in 10 to 14 days. Refrain from massaging, touching, or rubbing your injection sites, and don’t expose yourself to extreme heat (sauna, hot tub, tanning booth) for 24 hours.
Maintenance
The results of your neurotoxin injections at Lexington Prime last for about 3 to 6 months. Every client is unique, so the result duration will vary. To best support your wrinkle-relaxing results, maintenance sessions should be scheduled at 3 to 4-month intervals.

Though most clients see results in 10 to 14 days, we do have clients who experience positive results within 3 to 5 days, with full effects becoming visible within 2 weeks.
You’ll face minimal to no downtime after the treatment and should be able to get right back into your day. Some clients might experience temporary bruising, swelling, or redness at the injection site.
Before:
- Avoid taking blood-thinning medications or supplements such as aspirin, ibuprofen, or vitamin E to minimize bruising.
- Refrain from consuming alcohol 24 hours before your treatment.
- Always consult with your Lexington Prime injector for specific guidelines.
After:
- Refrain from rubbing or massaging the treated area for 24 hours.
- Avoid strenuous exercise for the day.
- Always follow the post-care instructions your Lexington Prime injector gives you.
